Learn about wood products.

Browse our manufacturer and supplier directory to learn about wood products, ask performance and supply questions, and connect with a manufacturer or supplier to scout material for your next project.

As a non-profit, WoodWorks is supported by these manufacturers and suppliers through our Partner Program. They represent all facets of the industry, and it is through their support that WoodWorks offers technical resources, educational programming, and free project assistance to teams building with wood.

Company profiles and contact information are hosted on the WoodWorks Innovation Network (WIN), a program of WoodWorks that showcases mass timber and innovative light-frame wood projects, and connects developers, design and construction teams, and suppliers. Follow the links below to connect directly with manufacturers and suppliers on WIN

Partner Associations

American Wood Council

The American Wood Council (AWC) is a leading developer of engineering data, technology, and standards on structural wood products in the U.S. These tools are used widely by design professionals, building officials, and manufacturers of traditional and engineered wood products to ensure the safe and efficient design and use of wood structural components. AWC is a key resource for code and standard information.

Think Wood

Think Wood provides commercial, multi-family, and single-family home design and build resources to architects, developers, and contractors. From accredited continuing education to the latest project profiles and AEC expert Q&As, Think Wood showcases innovative approaches to wood design and construction.

APA – The Engineered Wood Association

An accredited national standards developer, APA has developed performance standards for numerous structural engineered wood products, including plywood siding, wood structural panel sheathing, structural glue-laminated timber (glulam), wood I-joists, rim board, and cross-laminated timber (CLT). APA combines the work of scientists and engineers for its research center, knowledge gained from decades of fieldwork, and insight from its member manufacturers to support new engineered wood solutions and processes. APA Product Reports and other publications are widely used in the design and construction of wood buildings.

Canadian Wood Council – Conseil canadien du bois

The Canadian Wood Council (CWC) represents the Canadian wood products industry through a national federation of associations. The CWC’s vision is to be passionate, credible agents of change leading to an advanced and sustainable wood culture.
